Governance

PanicSwap has established a community governance platform using https://snapshot.org/#/panicswap.eth

We began using this for some early decisions around token design during our distribution phase. Governance proposals have tapered off during the launch and early fine tuning of our AMM.

We will resume governance proposals in the near future. With snapshot.org able to allow users holding PANIC or PANIC/FTM LP positions to vote on these proposals. We have weighted this to allow for those holding a PANIC/FTM LP position to have x8 the voting power of PANIC holders.

Moving forward we will look weight staked locked PANIC holders with more voting power. Ultimately we will continue to explore options for perpetual locking of PANIC and the potential of Vote Escrow PANIC (vePANIC) and it's role in governance of weighting farming distribution pools.
